Ft. Huachuca closes road due to storm damage | News

Officials at Ft. Huachuca have closed a road due to weather damage, no date yet on when repairs will start.

After heavy rains from monsoon activity in the area, the Upper Garden Canyon Road has been closed to vehicle traffic.  Rain has washed the road out and made it impassable to cars.

The gate leading to Upper Garden Canyon is closed and no vehicles will be allowed beyond that point until further notice.  Pedestrian traffic is allowed, but only during daylight hours.  The Lower and Middle Garden Canyon are not impacted by the rains and remain open to the public and vehicle traffic.

At this time there is no date for when the repair work will happen.
