There is still time to add a comment to the Arizona Department of Transportation’s 2014-2018 Tentative Five-Year Transportation Facilities Construction Program. The public comment period is open until the end of the business day on Friday, May 17 to provide community members with a chance to submit their feedback online or by phone.

Attention Apple Annie’s Orchard fans, they are opening their newest location this weekend.

For those familiar with the Willcox area, the old Stouts Cider Mill store will be the newest location to sell Apple Annie’s products, like fudge, apple bread, jarred goods and especially the produce.  This new store will be open year round.

The old cider mill store was closed two years ago because of economic hardship, but is now getting a new life when it will begin selling Apple Annie’s produce and baked goods, beginning Saturday May 18.

Stop on by if you are in the area, or maybe make a special weekend trip to see what’s available.

SIERRA VISTA (Tucson News Now) - Bicyclists and everyone who likes to ride a bicycle are invited to the 5th Annual Cycle Sierra Vista on Saturday, May 18, starting at 7 a.m. 

The free event at "The Cove" parking lot in Veterans' Memorial Park will offer ride routes and other activities for adults and children.  This year's theme, "Be Cycle Savvy," will emphasize safe riding techniques and skills useful to riders of all ages and abilities.

I-10 Traffic Switch Between Tucson and Benson Rescheduled

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now)- Drivers who use the freeway between Tucson and Benson have another traffic headache to deal with this week.

More lane restrictions are planned this week while the Arizona Department of Transportation gets ready to switch eastbound traffic onto new lanes overnight Thursday, May 16.

According to ADOT, the following lane restrictions are scheduled:

Eastbound I-10 narrowed to one lane between Cienega Creek Bridge and Marsh Station Road from 6 a.m. Thursday, May 16 to 6 a.m. to Friday, May 17  for barrier placement and striping. Traffic will be on the new eastbound travel lanes by Friday morning.

Westbound I-10 narrowed to one lane between the new Marsh Station traffic interchange and Cienega Creek from 6:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday, May 15 and Thursday, May 16 to construct a median cross over.
